Build a living Florence

Florence  is a historical city-builder about families, guilds, and supply chains in Renaissance Florence.

Every house belongs to a family. Each family takes on a guild role, works semi-autonomously, buys what it needs, sells what it makes, and rises or falls with the economy around it. Your job is not to micromanage every worker, but to shape the city so its households, workshops, mills, kilns, markets, and trade routes can thrive.

Start with survival: grain, flour, bread, timber, firewood, and bricks. Then grow into a dense urban economy of bakers, wool workers, blacksmiths, merchants, butchers, tanners, and more. When a chain breaks, the city shows it through movement, shortages, and stalled production before the numbers do.

What to expect

- Organic city growth driven by families and guilds

- Layered production chains and logistics

- A historical Florence-inspired setting

- Trade, imports, and market flow

- A slower, observational style of strategy where the streets tell the story

This browser build is an in-development version. Expect active balancing, iteration, and new systems as the city grows.
